2. Write a summary about your topic AND highlight (bold) the key points of your summary
INTRO | During the pandemic some people may feel more lonely than ever, especially when barred from meeting friends and lack of communication. This can lead people into a loop of uncertainty and doubt, with some deciding to end it. Overthinking is another thing that may arise. |
PARAGRAPH 1 | Communication is key. Find time and talk to friends online, hang out online or have mini meet ups online via video calls, playing some games or just a simple discord call. |
PARAGRAPH 2 | Without much of a social life, people may indulge themselves in work, leading to unhealthy working hours and a lack of a social life. Time management is key and so is managing your social life. Overworking is a real problem and does not bring any health benefits. |
SUMMARY | In the pandemic, people may become lonely and/or overworked. Both of which lead to an unhealthy mental status and is not good. Therefore, it is also important to communicate with friends and manage your time well, keeping a healthy lifestyle and not over-stress yourself. |

PART 3: FINAL POSTER (WEEK 10)
FINAL POSTER | TITLE: Lost In The Pandemic |
DESCRIPTION: As the privilege of social gatherings has been on a downturn since the start of the pandemic and “lockdowns”. Friendships have also been at a downtrend as a result. As people adjusted to their new stay-at-home lives, whilst juggling with work and stress; people have found less time for social events and eventually stopped talking/chatting with friends. As seen in the poster, is a conversation between Bry and Sam; starting off with a meeting up message and eventually just leading to yearly “Happy birthday” messages. With the poster, I am to encourage people to reach out to your friends and/or family. As much as it is stressful to work and complete on deadlines, life just is not comfortable without social support. It is a key to the human life experience and a pandemic should not alter that. |
